The Bomber Jacket
The bomber jacket has been a fashion item that has been in style since the 70’s. Timeless in structure, many designers have added their own unique flair to this jacket with Rag & Bone and Rebecca Taylor making two of our personal favorites. Opt for the quilted leather version in burgundy from Rebecca Taylor, or the heavier nylon Manston jacket from Rag & Bone.
The Military Jacket
Further riffing on the military inspiration is the classic military style jacket. Our favorite version of this is the AMO shirt jacket. Easily toss it over a simple top or even a dress to add a street style edge. The best part of this top is that you can opt for it to be your statement top by buttoning it up.
Velvet Everything!
Velvet jackets have steadily been making a comeback but its velvet pants that we truly can’t get enough of! Cool and stylishly sophisticated, comfort factor is at an all time high. This season velvet comes in a variety of colors including Olive and Navy to help stray away from your everyday blue jeans. Shake things up by wearing a full velvet suit à la very vintage.
Two-Tone Denim
Two-tone denim is another amazing twist to your standard blue jeans that offers a boho-chic look. Blending both a lighter blue wash with an Indigo one, these offerings usually come with a perfectly distressed and worn in appearance. Frame makes a pair that we can’t seem to take off and that has invited countless compliments. Who wouldn’t want these?!
Stepped Hem Denim
Closing out our list are another pair of denim bottoms from the fabulous Rag & Bone! Plenty of experimenting has been taking place with denim as of late in the industry – first with the two-tone stitching found on the Frame denim previously mentioned and now with these gorgeous Rag & Bone stepped hemmed jeans. Carefully choppy and stunningly staggered, these ultra chic Capri Hampton’s are form fitting through the leg and perfect for a night out. Dress these down with sneakers or show off your statement shoes with a pair of suede booties.
